On Wednesday, Anthropic announced its new Chief Product Officer. Mike Krieger was the Co-Founder of Instagram.
Who is this dude?
He co-founded Instagram, scaled it to over a billion users, and co-founded Artifact, an AI news app. Artifact was acquired by Yahoo in March. He praised Anthropic and sees potential in their AI research and product development.
Why this guy?
Anthropic just released Claude’s iOS app with multilingual support, an area he has experience in. He'll lead product development, improve Claude, and more. The goal is to speed compete with major AI companies, accelerate product development, and more.

Google’s most underrated new tool 🎥 🔥
At its I/O event on Tuesday, Google unveiled VideoFX. It’s an experimental text-to-video tool powered by Veo.
What is VideoFX?
It generates video clips from text prompts. It features a Storyboard mode for creating different shots, adding music, exporting video files, and more.
Sounds dope, is it available yet?
VideoFX is being tested in a private preview. Google hasn’t disclosed if it hasn't will be publicly available. If you want to use it, you can join the waitlist, here. Google will review all applications on a rolling basis.
