MAIN COURSE

AI + CGI = look out, Hollywood 🤖 🔥

On Tuesday, Autodesk announced its acquisition of Wonder Dynamics. It created Wonder Studio, an AI-powered 3D animation and VFX tech platform.

What’s Wonder Studio?

Wonder Dynamics has an advisory board featuring Steven Spielberg, Joe Russo, and more. Its platform, Wonder Studio, allows you to integrate CGI characters, animations, lighting, and more into live-action scenes.

How does it work?

Simply upload a video, select a CG character model, and it detects, tracks, and transfers the performance to the CG character, including animation, lighting, and composition, without motion capture or complex software.

That’s insane. What about Autodesk?

Autodesk is known for tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Maya. Its tech enables the creation of buildings, products, movies, games, and more.

So, what?

This will bring faster, affordable, and efficient creation of high-quality 3D content and VFX to any creator. It has the potential to transform the media and entertainment industries.

Where do animators go for a drink? CGI Friday's. 😂

My first startup of 8 years failed miserably. This was years before ChatGPT.

I learned about a tool called Jasper, an AI writing tool. I poured my life savings into various business ventures that utilized this tool.

I wrote horror stories for a YouTube channel, I wrote copy for liquor companies, I wrote blogs for energy healers, gained traffic to my own sites with AI-powered SEO strategies, and more.

Then, ChatGPT came out. You could talk to it like a human. It gave advice, generated code, automated repetitive tasks and more.

Fast-forward to today. I have multiple time-consuming, labor-intensive businesses and this newsletter you’re reading. I need AI tools that save time and make money.

I’m long past the hype phase of AI. I’m not impressed by ChatGPT clones like I used to be.

I was pumped when Dan from FounderPal asked to sponsor today’s article of Bot Eat Brain.

It’s easy to use, and the marketing plans it generates are thorough and packed with actionable strategies that convert sales.

Market research is a time suck. FounderPal lets me spend time on implementing strategies instead of endless research.

On days when my creativity is running low, it’s a lifesaver. It helps get my creative juices flowing and keeps my marketing efforts fresh and effective.

If you’re looking to elevate your business and save time, I highly recommend giving FounderPal a try.

SIDE SALAD

Devs get Devin 👨‍💻 ✨

On Tuesday, Microsoft and Cognition announced a partnership. The goal is to bring Devin, an autonomous AI agent, to Microsoft Azure.

What is Devin?

Devin is an AI software engineer that writes code, creates websites, makes software, learns from its mistakes, and more.

What can you do with it?

You can generate full websites or programs from a text prompt. It generates code, performs debugging and deployment, anticipates problems, gives real-time progress reports, and more.

So, why partner with Microsoft?

Devin will be powered by Microsoft Azure and integrate into Visual Studio Code, GitHub, and more.

"Devin is an absolutely amazing tool. If you can imagine for yourself some of the most tedious things that you do as an engineer or software developer, Devin is a tool designed to help you with those tasks."

Kevin Scott, CTO of Microsoft

Why was the developer unhappy at her job? She wanted arrays... 🤦‍♂️
